Enchanting is a player based skill which gives you the ability to enchant a variety of items. The owner of the current enchanting tablet is the Enchanting Leader. Your enchanting Level determines what items can be made.
Getting Started
To get started you need to craft an Enchanting Tablet.
In order to start enchanting items, there is 2 things you need to do:
- Rez the correct materials for the recipe of your choice onto the Tablet- make sure your materials are touching the tablet.
- Click the tablet to cast the correct spells for the recipe of your choice.
There will be many recipes possible for different items, some will be more challenging than others and may require up to 10 people with 10 different spells to enchant something.
Once you have cast the correct spells and rezzed the right materials, click Enchant! from your enchanting tablet to begin to choose an item.
Essences are found through MINING. Skill Runes are found as loot drops from GIANT creatures. Eye Stones are CRAFTED.
Essence/Runes/Eye Stones should NOT be added to the HUD.
If you are not Gold Membership activated, you will be limited to 1 enchant per hour. There is a 60 minute cooldown for non gold members.
Using Enchanting Tablet
- Find an area where you have permission to rez
- Rez the Enchanting Tablet
- Rez the materials ontop of the Enchanting Tablet
- Please view the Enchanting Recipes to see what materials are needed
- Cast your spells on the tablet
- Touch Tablet
- Choose "Cast Spell"
- Choose what spell to cast
- If multiple elemental spells need to be cast, get others to help you out
- The number of spells cast can be seen in tablet's hover text
- you can clear the tablet, if you cast the wrong spells
- Begin the Enchanting
- Touch the tablet
- Choose "Enchant"
- Choose what you wish to create (if you followed the recipe correctly, the item should be on the list)
- Confirm (if you cancel, you will need to re-cast your spells)
- Wait for the Enchanting Tablet to absorb all the materials
- The items are then delivered to you
- You have finished Enchanting! Congratulations. Now you have to wait 1 hour before enchanting again (unless you have Gold Membership)
- Note
- It does not matter which you do first: if you cast your spells or rez your materials . You just have to do both before "Enchanting"
