It’s been a whirlwind of excitement over the past month, with lots of surprises (for you and us both) and fun additions to the game. We’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you some awesome new features, creatures, and quests while keeping the game running smoothly. So, without further ado, let’s dive into all the wonderful things that have happened this month, and some exciting NEW things launched TODAY!
Emperor Coated Penglins and Holiday Hijinks Quests Released Today!
First up, we’re thrilled to announce that new Emperor Coated Penglins are now spawning across the grid, just in time to celebrate this very special day! These adorable creatures are a holiday surprise for our players, spawning from all Home Temples and capturable via Standard Nets. They’re quite partial to the cold weather so you’ll have to be quick if you want to add them to your collection – they’re the very definition of “snow birds”!
But, that’s not all – we’ve also introduced limited time ‘Holiday Hijinks’ quests in the Adventures section of our apps, giving 3x KraftieCoin rewards! These quests are the perfect way to get into the festive spirit, and also a great excuse for players to check out the new cutting-edge image generation feature added earlier in the month. This feature generates a unique image for each quest destination, allowing players to SEE the whimsical locations they’re sending their pets off to explore. It’s a fantastic way to immerse yourself even further in the world of Krafties, and we’re excited to hear what you think of it!

Return of the Holiday Gift Giver!
Trinity and Rain have been hard at work packing the stocking on Krafties Island, and they’ve filled it with some INCREDIBLE surprises. Make sure to stop by and discover what’s inside – it could be anything from 5,000 Energy, Gold Membership, rare Hatchable Eggs, Coupons, pets with Elemental Affinities, and more! This is our way of spreading some holiday cheer and showing our appreciation for your continued support. It wouldn’t be possible without the extra hard work from Trinity sourcing and collecting all the gifts, and Rain slogging through SL’s inventory system to set it all up. Introducing New Trinket Artifacts!
As a continuation of our recent Artifact update, we’re excited to announce the release of a new set of Trinket Artifacts available in NPC shops. Shopkeepers are trading for these unique artifacts which can be equipped to your creatures, granting them modest stat boosts. Each trinket is themed after a classic fantasy class, and provides a 10% boost to its corresponding stat. It’s a fantastic way to customize and power up your creatures for even more epic adventures, and is intended to give you a glimpse of some of the movement with Artifacts. There are even more exciting Artifact related happenings around the corner!
Exciting Spawn Changes, Attuned Wilds, and the Winter Element
As the winter season has unfolded, we’ve introduced some special spawn changes to reflect the snowy landscape. From the now snow-covered Krafties Island to a new roster of special spawns, there’s an abundance of winter-themed wilds to discover. Arriving hand in hand with these winter-time companions, Ice, Wind, and Winter attuned wilds are spawning, overflowing with elemental energy and looking for a fight! Additionally, we’ve made it possible to craft Winter souls year-round, using seasonal Holly loot drops instead of Snowballs. It’s the perfect time to capture the essence of the winter and add a touch of magic to your collection.
Winter Expo
We’re thrilled to share that our first foray into large SL events, The Winter Expo, was a success thanks to the incredible generosity of our community. Together, we raised nearly $700,000L$ for The American Cancer Society, making a meaningful impact through our shared passion for Krafties and giving back.

Resolving Server Issues
We understand that server stability is crucial to your gaming experience, and Krafties has been hard at work addressing issues that arose in the past week. After extensive testing and troubleshooting, we’re happy to report that our servers are now STABLE ensuring that you can enjoy seamless gameplay without any interruptions.
Loot Wreaths are Dropping!
Loot Wreaths are back! These festive decorations are a great way to attract some extra special wilds that drop multiple loot items at once when defeated. Be sure to stock up on these limited time items while they’re available, and enjoy the extra loot drops!
Double Crafting Experience!
Since this all wasn’t quite enough to show just how much Krafties appreciates you, how about… a double crafting XP event starting now and lasting all the way through New Year’s Day! Tis the season to gather round the yuletide crafting temple and bake some holiday cookies! Or… elemental souls!

A Note from the Developer
Hey all, and happy holidays! I want to leave a very quick note and a special thank you to all of you who have been both generous and patient with us over this past month. We’ve had more excitement on the development side of Krafties than we could have anticipated, and we’re so happy to have you all along for the ride. The two big things I would like to quickly touch on here are server issues and stealth updates.
As many of you experienced, last week we had a few days of server instability. After a grueling stretch of troubleshooting and working with some experts, we were able to identify the issue and resolve it. We’ve been monitoring the server since then, and are happy to report that everything is stable! I’m also VERY happy to share that this particular issue shouldn’t be happening again after the extensive work done to resolve things.
The second thing I want to touch on is the sort of stealth updates and content releases we’ve seen throughout December. For those of you who have been active this month, you’ve probably noticed fun new messages appearing above your HUDs with updates on new content, features, and other releases tied to dates. In truth, this system was adopted out of necessity. There have been so many things going on at once that I had to find a way to get information out to you all without taking resources away from development, as blog posts like this take a significant amount of time to create. However, this system seems to have been a success, and I think we’re going to continue to use the idea going forward. Less of this, more of that! I’ll also going to be looking at ways to make this information more accessible to you all through other means, so stay tuned for that. Importantly, keep an eye on those messages above your HUDs!
