Vampires have the ability to Heal themselves with Combat spells unlike other elements.
They also have the special ability to learn the first combat spell from other elements, if it's body has a different elemental affinity than Vampire.
Example: If a Vampire soul is bonded to a body with Fire Affinity, the vampire will learn Flamethrower (spell) (but no other fire spells). But since the elements do not match, the pet will not glow.

They are very durable in battle because of their ability to heal with both Combat spells and Healing spells

Vampire, Combat Spells (unlocked on Combat levels)
Level 1	Vamp Fire - Does simple damage
Level 1	Drain - (Manual Casting), Absorbs the target's hitpoints and adds it to your own. It also buffs your Hitpoints stat in the process
Level 15	Consume - (Manual Casting), Absorbs more of the target's hitpoints and adds it to your own. It also buffs your Hitpoints stat in the process

Manual Casting means you have to touch the target and choose "Cast Spell"
Consume is stronger version of Drain, both will give back health to your pet by taking it from the target.
Vampires can learn a extra Combat spell through bonding with a body with different elemental affinity (example: Fire affinity would give Vampire the first Fire combat spell), but it wont glow

Level 15	Med Regenerate - same as Med Heal but can only be cast on self

Level 10	Compel - (Debuff), lowers the enemy Crafting and Defense
Level 15	Hypnosis - (Debuff), lowers the enemy Intellect, Focus and Fortitude

When someones Crafting is debuffed to negative percentage, it causes them to loose Crafting Exp when using Healing spells.
