Beta web app
In July of 2021 the Beta web app was introduced. Clicking the option will reroute your browser to our brand new, redesigned web app. Things will look familiar, but everything should be cleaner, more convenient, and now use all available screen space! We’re working to minimize the number of actions players have to take to accomplish what they’re setting out to do, keep everything in one place, and make it easier for new players to see the full feature set of what our app system has to offer. In August of the same year Synthesis was introduced. For five energy, players can Synthesize 10 unbonded creatures together into one awesome conjumble. Right now in beta, as we’re working out the kinks with our new grading system (outlined below), all combinations result in a certain amount of KraftieCoins being awarded for a successful synthesis based on the value of the combined creatures. The easiest way to use synthesis is to sort the unbondeds you want to recycle and move them to the top until you have 10 or more then just use the synthesis button and select the preselected top 10!
CREATURE GRADES
In our beta web app, all unbonded creatures are now assigned a percentage score, in orange, that estimates their value. This score is based on a variety of factors such as their natural stats, elemental affinity, coat rarity, and (soon to be) traits and their respective rarities. This algorithm is still a work in progress so expect changes. It’s our hope that this will help guide players in making informed decisions when playing the game and interacting with the market!
Notable Creature Attributes
Finally, one more “notable” improvement has been launched in our beta app! Unbonded creatures have a shiny new informational widget attached to them in the Home and Market apps which informs players of the most valuable attributes each individual unbonded creature has!
This new display ties directly into the same “grading” system that has recently been introduced to the beta apps, but gives much more context and understanding about why a particular creature is graded in a particular way. It makes perusing through fresh new catches a breeze, and gives players a nice summary of exactly where to look when they encounter a new creature.
As of now, the possible Notable Attributes you may see attached to creatures are Natural Skill, Coat, Traits, Elemental Affinity, and Uniqueness. As the grading system grows and evolves things here may change, but the intent behind it will remain the same.
This feature is a part of an ongoing mission to give all players the ability to make educated, meaningful decisions when enjoying Krafties. There’s always work to be done, but this one should have a big impact!
