Affection element is best known for their ability to Buff teammates with their Mental spells
They also learn Healing spells on earlier levels than any other element.

They are not made for combat. Their main purpose is to aid teammates with their Buffs and Healing
On February 15, 2023, changes were made to the Affection element altering the way many of the spells now work.
A COMPLETE REWORK FOR AFFECTION TYPE CREATURES has been pushed live which changes the use and effects of existing spells, along with adding new ones!
Elemental Rework – Affection!

A long-awaited overhaul for Affection elementals is arriving today! This affects ALL affection creatures, both existing and those yet to be bonded. The change released today marks our largest rework of an existing type, and if received well we hope to tackle additional types soon after!

Affection, Combat Spells (unlocked on Combat levels)
Level 1	Enrapture - Deals very low damage. This spell now gives the caster a very small Focus buff every time it is used

Affection, Healing Spells (unlocked on Crafting levels)
Level 1	Low Heal - Heals low amount
Level 7	Med Heal - Heals medium amount
Level 15	High Heal - Heals high amount

Affection, Mental Spells (unlocked on Mental levels)
Level 1	Protect - Buff, raises your or an ally's defense
Level 7	Excite - Buff, raises your or an ally's strength
Level 13	Stimulate - Buff, raises your or an ally's attack
