The Stat Specialty is a special feature of Light (element)/Dark (element) pets that is determined when first bonded to a new soul. It will boost by a small % the stat each time they hit in battle, the stronger the spell the stronger the buff for a Light pet and a debuff on the target for a Dark pet. In addition, Dark pets have a mental spell Dark Burden that when cast debuffs their target by a random % for 60 seconds and can be cast every 30 seconds which increases with higher mental levels. Light pets have their own mental spell Radiant Favor which buffs themselves or another pet for the same duration.
