Updating pre v4.0 Krafties

To keep up with what is the current version of Krafties, you need to do updates whenever they come out. If you fall too far behind, then you might run into in some trouble and need to ask for help from a Krafties CSR. Dont be shy to ask for help... thats what they are here for.

Please copy and paste the form below into your support ticket. Provide the necessary information so we can begin the update process for you. Properly and accurate information will expedite the update process.

• (COPY AND PASTE INTO YOUR TICKET)

● Krafties that say "disabled" in hovertext have automatically added to the new HUD. The new HUD is in the Necessity Pack at the back of the Krafties store. If your Kraftie says "Limited Functionality" Please indicate so in your ticket and we will give directions on how to process those Krafties.

● Home Temples v3.5, Crafting Temples v3.1, Mining Rocks and E Capsules can still be updated by the 4.0 Updater located at the back of the Krafties store. If your temples are older than these versions, we need to know what types of temples you need updated, how many of each, what version and if any are your FREE temples. If the temples are transfer- please box them up and send them to Doroteya Resident inworld. If they are your FREE temples, please indicate so in the ticket- as they are no trans.

● If you need these specific items updated - SHROOMS, NETS, ENCHANTING/ALCHEMY TABLETS OR EYESTONES Please box up the items that need updating and send to Doroteya Resident inworld. ON the box we need your name and ticket number in the 'name" line of the box and the words "Update Items" in the "desc" line. Include a NC listing the items you have included in the box. Please allow approx 2 days for the update to take place once we receive the items inworld.

● If you need the remaining items updated - ALL LOOT, CRAFTED ITEMS, SOULS or UNBONDEDS- please indicate with a YES (there is no need to list these items separately as they will be placed in bulk on the Updater Pad to be updated)

REGARDING PURCHASING KRAFTIES TEMPLES PRE v4.0 UPDATE

• SUPPORT OF PRE v3.5/4.0 TEMPLES

Please keep in in mind that Krafties only guarantees Temples that are purchased directly from Krafties Resident. In order to protect your Linden dollars, please do not buy temples from anyone that are pre v3.5/4.0. There have been temples sold on the Marketplace and by group members that are not Krafties originals, and therefore we will not replace or update them.

Also, please keep in mind that we will not update/replace/service any temples that are pre v3.5/4.0 if we cannot verify that you personally purchased them from Krafties Resident. If they are secondary market purchases, you will need to go back to the seller and have them file a ticket to get the temple updated.

REGARDING PURCHASING PRE v4.0 KRAFTIES CREATURES

We advise that you do not purchase any Krafties Bonded Creatures that are not updated to the most current version v4.0. Krafties reserves the right not to update any Creatures that are pre-v4.0. When purchasing Krafties that are not in the official Krafties "Package", designed to work with the new HUD, we advise that you ask the seller to update the Kraftie for you before you purchase.

REGARDING PURCHASING PRE v4.0 KRAFTIES ITEMS

We advise that you do not purchase any Krafties items that are not updated to v4.0. Krafties reserves the right not to update any items that are pre-v4.0. When purchasing items and they are not in the official Krafties "Package", designed to work with the new HUD, we advise that you ask the seller to update the items for you before you purchase.

How to Update to 4.0

1. Go to the marble slab at the back of the Krafties Store (Behind the store)
2. Click and get a copy of the 4.0 Updater, and the 4.0 Necessity Pack
3. Use the 4.0 Updater
   1. Rez your Updater
   2. Then simply rez your items, click the udpater and let it go to work.
      • Once you are finished with the update, you will need to manually delete the 3.5 Home and Giant temples left behind (they will be in the same spot as the new 4.0 Home and Giant Temples
   • The 4.0 Updater will update:
     • Home Temples and Giant Temples
     • Crafting Temples
     • Mining Rocks
     • Energy Capsules.
4. Getting your Necessary items
   1. Rez your 4.0 Necessity pack and open.
   2. Right click and “add to current outfit”.
   • • You will see your HUD appear on the screen.
     • There will also be 2 tools that will attach to you.
     • The Creature Attachment will become your active creature, and the Tool will become your net or pickaxe.

UPDATER PAD - You will only be able to use the "Updater Pad" once you file a ticket at www.krafties.com/support and the admins process the update information for you.

1. Rez your Updater Pad. That is what will convert your Krafties items into the new format.
   • The items that you can convert via the pad are Krafties loot, crafted items, souls, and unbondeds .
     • Rez a bunch of items onto the pad, then click it to begin converting.
     • They will automatically add to your HUD.
     • There is also loot rezzer script you can grab for $0L that will help you rez in bulk.
       1. Grab the script-
       2. Rez a prim on top of the Update Pad
       3. Drop the script into contents of the prim
       4. Also add the many items that need updating (Loot/Crafted items, Souls and Unbonded Creatures) into the contents of that prim
       5. Touch the prim, it will rez the items for you quickly.
       6. If the prim rezzes the items too far away from the update pad (the pad didn't absorb them) then just move them closer together.

UPDATING SPECIFIC ITEMS The following items need to be ticketed in order to be updated. Individual updaters that were located behind the Krafties store are no longer available.

Adding your Pets to Krafties HUD v4.0

It is very simple to convert your Bonded Creatures into the new HUD

1. Simply rez or wear the pet
2. The pet will "deactivate" and automatically go into your HUD
3. Check your Home App and see your pet now successfully within the HUD
4. You can then simply delete the deactivated pet

Using the Packages

Packages are available so you can box up your loot, unbondeds, bondeds and souls.

On top of the table behind the updaters are Packages which you can grab

1. Simply rez, grant debit perms,
2. then click the Package again.
3. Follow the prompts to load the object.
4. You can set the entire object for sale- or use it as a vendor. The choice is yours.

Updating pre v3.2 Krafties (Limited Functionality)

Krafties that show "Limited Functionality" in hovertext need to be manually updated. Depending on the amount of Krafties that need to be updated, the time frame can be anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You will be informed of the time frame once you file a support ticket.

Follow these instructions, for updating "limited functionality" pets.

1. First you post a support ticket
   • You will explain within the ticket what is going on, updating limited functionality pets
   • keep the ticket number, you will need it
2. Next you will need to box up your Krafties following the guidelines below
   1. Rez a box.
   2. You need to include your name and ticket number in the NAME line of the box object.
   3. In the box contents we will need a notecard with the ID and names of all of the Krafties that need updating.
      • The ID can be found by editing linked parts of the creature, and then right clicking the health orb. The ID will be the first set of numbers on the DESCRIPTION line- an example would be 2576621.
      • List each pet as follows:

        ID - Name - Element & Species

        2576621 - Ice Angel - Water Rexie

        3433553- Red Devil - Fire Hopster

   4. Don't forget to put the Krafties pets themselves into the box
3. Once the box is complete please send it to Doroteya Resident with an IM confirming that you have sent it. Once the update is completed, you will receive an IM inworld.
