Ways to earn Experience
+
Krafties are constantly learning new things and mastering both their combat and creative skills, just like other living creatures. Your creature through the course of questing, battles and crafting gain experience and gain power by leveling up. There are five attributes that will help in leveling up your creature:
:Crafting Experience (Crafting)

::*Doing some Crafting or assisting one

::*You receive exp for each craft you lead or assist. Exp earned per craft is the E cost per item/4

::*Casting Healing Spells, earns you 1Exp for every 1hp it heals

:Combat Experience (Attack, Strength, Defense and Hitpoints)

::*Fighting Wilds and Shadow Creature (Choosing a "Battle Style" lets you train specific Combat skills)

::*Using Enchanted Runes

:Mental Experience (Intellect, Focus and Fortitude)

::*Using Scrolls

::*Using Alchemy Tablets

:Random/Any Experience

::*Being in Krafties Island when your pet's element matches the Elemental Torches

Issues With XP (Experience) Not Adding
+
Attack: Increasing your creature's attack level will improve their chances of scoring a hit in combat. This doesn't affect damage, just the ability to hit the opponent. Aviaas are often naturally designed for accuracy.
:PLEASE NOTE - If the Second Life or Krafties servers go down and you were in the middle of a Craft or Alchemy, we can look into replacing the lost XP. Please refer to the information below.

+
Strength: Strength is your creature's physical prowess, determining not only how much damage they can inflict, but the maximum damage possible. Creatures with high strength like Rexies tend to hit harder overall.
:If CRAFTING fails-
+

:There is a maximum "accepted" time limit of "20 minutes" on crafts. If you choose to craft and the timing of the craft exceeds 20 minutes, ANY errors that occur during the craft will not be supported by the Krafties team. (this includes crashes, server issues or any SL related issues)
+
Defense: This determines the creature's ability to absorb damage, reducing their overall loss of hit points. Training your creature in combat constantly in certain battle styles helps build up their resistance, enabling them to hold up better in battle.
 +

 +
Hitpoints: Hitpoints is the health of your creature and measure how much damage your creature can take before they can no longer fight. Hit points regenerate over time, but the more hit points your creature has, the longer they can last against tough opponents.

:If you are the LEADER of a craft, and the time of the craft is under "20 minutes" - if the craft fails due to server issues, crashes etc.. we will return the E and ingredients to your HUD so you can re-craft. Unfortunately we are not able to award crafting xp due to the inability to obtain the necessary data from our servers. If the craft was during an event, we have no way of tracking the event/time and will not be able to award the proper xp that corresponded to the event. We do make every effort possible to rectify a failed craft and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. You will need to file a ticket and MUST include the following information:
+
Crafting: This determines how skilled your creature is in crafting items or forging souls. This is important for making amulets, potions, and souls, as well as determining their quality. The higher one's crafting, the better they make items. Crafting experience is only gained by using a crafting temple and healing your pet.
::*Before and after creature stats from local (click your pet, then "stats". The Krafties stats will appear in local).

::*Local chat from when the craft initiated and when it officially completed (if it did complete).

 +
Overall: A creature's overall level is considered the combined level of the creature's experience. This affects a creature in learning new spells and abilities, and developing evolution powers at level 10 and 20.

:If you ASSIST a craft - if the craft fails due to server issues, crashes etc., please note that our servers do not record information regarding players assisting in a craft, and unfortunately we are not able to credit the missed xp to your Kraftie.

Mental Abilities

:If adding XP by using CANDIES or any other "item" fails-
+
Mental abilities are a new skill set introduced with version 3.0 and offer a different type of attack for a strategic victory. There will be many ways to improve your mental levels, from special npc loot drops to alchemist item experience conversion spells.
:We will look into replacing the xp that was to be awarded to your Kraftie. If the this was during an event, we have no way of tracking the event/time and will not be able to award the proper xp that corresponded to the event. We do make every effort possible to rectify adding xp back to your pet and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. You will need to file a ticket and MUST include the following

::*Before and after creature stats from local (click your pet, then "stats". The Krafties stats will appear in local).

::*Local chat showing that you added crafting xp to your pet.

*Please note that this information is being requested because our severs only save your pets "current" stats, they do not save prior stats from your pet. New data overwrites previous data. We need documentation you provide so we can begin looking into your reported issue.
+
Intellect: Intellect determines the force of your mental spells.  Similar to strength, the higher this level the more effective your mental spells are.

 +
Focus: Focus determines the chance of success hit with your mental abilities.  Similar to attack, the higher this level the more chance of striking a successful mental attack.

:If ALCHEMY fails-
+
Fortitude: Fortitude is your ability to defend mental attacks.  Similar to defense, the higher this level the more chance of you defending a mental attack.
:We will look into replacing the xp that was to be awarded to your Kraftie. If the alchemy was during an event, we have no way of tracking the event/time and will not be able to award the proper xp that corresponded to the event. :If ADDING MENTAL/OTHER XP fails-
+
You can check all information about your pets levels and experience from the "Stats" menu in the main menu of your Kraftie.

Soul levels
ADDITIONAL NOTES REGARDING XP
+
A soul level is a determined level of the quality of a crafted soul, and often reflects how powerful a soul is when it is manufactured at a crafting temple. This however is just a general number, and to determine a soul's true potential, you would have to look at their stats to see what levels they have gained from being formed.

*Please note that this information is being requested because our severs only save your pets "current" stats, they do not save prior stats from your pet. New data overwrites previous data. We need documentation you provide so we can begin looking into your reported issue.
+
All created souls gain natural levels, often based on the creature's trained levels and partially by the levels of those linked into the crafting temple. The better the crafting level, the higher quality of the soul and its natural stats increase.
*If you are adding a substantial amount of xp to your pet, it is recommended that you utilize the "stats" button when you click your pet to document your pet's current stats in local. This is in case adding xp fails and we need documentation of your pets "before" stats".

*If Second Life or Krafties servers go down and you are battling, please note that we are not able to replace any xp that was not added. During these times, "proceed at your own risk".

*To ensure that xp during an event (double alchemy etc), you will need to wait at least 5 minutes for your Kraftie to sync with the event/server. If you do not wait the indicated amount of time, the xp will not accurately add to your Kraftie.

*Any time you add XP to your Kraftie (especially large amounts), we recommend that you reactivate your pet immediately after adding the xp or wait at LEAST 5-10 minutes before logging off or changing pets. The Krafties data(xp added) needs to sync to our server for it to be saved.

*Please note that we cannot use data from third party huds to document xp not adding. The stats must come from our servers in local.

Combat Training Tips
+
Soul levels allow a handler to strategically develop a new creature. Creatures with high attack levels may be bonded with Aviaa's to further improve their attack, or balanced with Rexie's with natural strength bonuses allowing them to score more damaging hits. This also may allow handlers to focus on particular levels and developing their own strategies.
*You can choose in which Combat skill your experience goes, by changing the Combat Style in the Pet Menu (under "Battles")

*You can change the Active Combat Spell to stronger or weaker damaging spells in the Pet Menu (under "Battles")

*Using a Healing spell often will earn you Crafting experience. The higher the Crafting Level the more hitpoints you heal

**Healing Spells are learned on crafting levels, view your pet's element page for more information

Other Notes
*If you dislike getting all the battling details, you can turn off Spell Alerts in the Pet Menu (under "Settings")

*You can actually change the volume of your pet in the Pet Menu (under "Settings")
