To add a picture to page, you will have to upload a image file first, or find an existing picture you are looking for. Then you can use the file link to add the image to your page, as a thumbnail or a full picture, depending on how you make the image link.

Please use Thumbnails when you want to add pictures related to the topic of each page, a big framed/plain picture is mainly for explanatory purposes.

Uploading

When you upload file, you can find them again on the List of Files uploaded.

Replacing/Updating File

  • When you wish to replace a picture with a better one for whatever reason (better quality or updating) then simply find the original file and "upload newer version of this file"
Please do this to avoid having duplicates of the same picture, the wiki does notice duplicates
  • You can only replace pictures with the same format file (example:.jpg cannot be replaced with a .png)

Thumbnails

Thumbnails are for adding pictures relating to the page.

  • Thumbnail examples:
  1. -thumbnail will be on the left side
  2. -thumbnail will be in the center
  3. -thumbnail will be on the right side
  4. -thumbnail will be 100px wide in the center

  • Thumbnails are on the right side by default.
  • Text wraps around thumbnails, that includes Headings.Unless the image is center.
  • Biggest thumbnail by default is 220px
  • The format of the link should always be Commands. So as long as the Command is in there, the order of them doesn't matter, center/thumb/100px
  • To place a thumbnail on the left without text wrapping, use none instead of left (example:)
ThumbExample Left
ThumbExample Right
ThumbExample Center
ThumbExample Center 100px

Framed

Framed, displays picture in native size

Framed is like a mix between plain picture and thumbnail.

  • It displays the image in native size, with a border and description same as the thumbnails, but it does not have the resize button next to the description.
  • Framed picture is on the right by default, and text wraps around.
    • -will display picture in it's native size by default, similar to plain picture, just framed

Plain Picture

Plain pictures are only for explanatory purposes, as part of the text (not just referring to the topic, but specific parts of the page)

  • Plain picture examples:
    • -will be on the left side, no text wrap
  • Plain images are on the left side by default.
  • Plain pictures display no caption/description.
  • Plain pictures are native size by default, the following picture has been shrunk to 500 px

Krafties Crafting.png *Text does not wrap by default. Plain pictures are in a line (so one line of text can be next to it)
