There are many types of Levels, which are calculated from certain groups of stats
Types of Levels
Overall Level
- The Overall level of your creature is a calculated average of all the other level groups: Crafting Level, Combat Level and Mental Level.
- A creature's overall level is considered the combined level of the creature's experience. This affects a creature in learning new spells and abilities, and developing evolution powers at level 10 and 20.
Crafting Level
- Crafting: This determines how skilled your creature is in crafting items or forging souls. This is important for making amulets, potions, and souls, as well as determining their quality. The higher one's crafting, the better they make items. Crafting experience is only gained by using a crafting temple and healing your pet.
Combat Level
- The Combat level is a calculated average of all the combat skills: Attack, Strength, Defense and Hitpoints.
- Attack: Increasing your creature's attack level will improve their chances of scoring a hit in combat. This doesn't affect damage, just the ability to hit the opponent. Aviaas are often naturally designed for accuracy.
- Strength: Strength is your creature's physical prowess, determining not only how much damage they can inflict, but the maximum damage possible. Creatures with high strength like Rexies tend to hit harder overall.
- Defense: This determines the creature's ability to absorb damage, reducing their overall loss of hit points. Training your creature in combat constantly in certain battle styles helps build up their resistance, enabling them to hold up better in battle.
- Hitpoints: Hitpoints is the health of your creature and measure how much damage your creature can take before they can no longer fight. Hit points regenerate over time, but the more hit points your creature has, the longer they can last against tough opponents.
Mental Level
- Mental abilities are a new skill set introduced with version 3.0 and offer a different type of attack for a strategic victory. There will be many ways to improve your mental levels, from special npc loot drops to alchemist item experience conversion spells.
- Intellect: Intellect determines the force of your mental spells. Similar to strength, the higher this level the more effective your mental spells are.
- Focus: Focus determines the chance of success hit with your mental abilities. Similar to attack, the higher this level the more chance of striking a successful mental attack.
- Fortitude: Fortitude is your ability to defend mental attacks. Similar to defense, the higher this level the more chance of you defending a mental attack.
- You can check all information about your pets levels and experience from the "Stats" menu in the main menu of your Kraftie.
Soul level
A soul level is a determined level of the quality of a crafted soul, and often reflects how powerful a soul is when it is manufactured at a crafting temple. This however is just a general number, and to determine a soul's true potential, you would have to look at their stats to see what levels they have gained from being formed.
All created souls gain natural levels, often based on the creature's trained levels and partially by the levels of those linked into the crafting temple. The better the crafting level, the higher quality of the soul and its natural stats increase.
Soul levels allow a handler to strategically develop a new creature. Creatures with high attack levels may be bonded with Aviaa's to further improve their attack, or balanced with Rexie's with natural strength bonuses allowing them to score more damaging hits. This also may allow handlers to focus on particular levels and developing their own strategies.
- The soul keeps all your pet's experience, excluding the Natural Ability the body itself possesses.
