This is a documentation subpage for Template:Species list.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

All the species tables have been moved to individual sub-template pages, so they can be easily inserted onto pages and gives us the ability to include specialized documentation for contributors to help them better update the tables.

This main template Species list has a single large list of all species, but there are sub-templates that contain shorter lists of species, sorted by availability basically.

Ratings

These are the numbers used for the ratings column in each species list.

  • 1=Common
  • 2=Uncommon
  • 3=Rare
  • 4=Very rare
  • 5=Enchanted
  • 6=Limited

Seasonal {{Species list/seasonal}} list of seasonal species, that are only seen at certain seasons
Special {{Species list/special}} list of species that need to be enchanted or summoned
Aquatic {{Species list/aquatic}} list of species that are obtained through fising
Limited {{Species list/limited}} list of limited species (sold for limited time)
Unobtainable {{Species list/unobtainable}} Species that have been seen but cannot be obtained as pets
